We’re very excited to announce that Anderson Silverio will be joining us as an instructor starting immediately!  He will be teaching No Gi Grappling Tuesday and Thursday nights 7-8pm.

Anderson “Sinho” Silverio

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Rank: Black Belt 4th Degree

Professor: Carlos Henrique

Anderson “Sinho” Silverio began training martial arts at age 7 in a social project in Cantagalo, Brazil RJ. At age 13 in 1994 his family moved to Tijuca where he continued under Prof Carlos Henrique and Andre Terencio. Under their guidance he began instructing classes, and also began competing. Although he has experience training/competing in wrestling, boxing, and MMA throughout his life, his passion lays in GI BJJ and BJJ for MMA.

As a child with limited recourses growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was very important in Anderson’s life. It provided an outlet which taught him discipline, respect, encouraged education, and motivated his life. Through the sport he became a positive influence for those around him. What started as a hobby evolved into a lifestyle.
